Can we negotiate on the ABs. Something performanced based on I will take the bet.

You don't think ABs are performance based? I would hope we give more ABs to the guys with the best performance. I was going more for health, actually, considering both of the players are questionable in that area and an injured player doesn't add to his team's performance.

I'll compromise and go with something like (R+RBI) - HR? Sound good?

lol why take out the HRs

I will take it anyway, $5k sound good. This includes the post season if there is any, OK.

So OBP, 2B, and (R+RBI)-HR for $5k

You take out the HR because they double count the stat producing both an RBI and a Run for the player but not for the team. If you want to read about it, this link explains. http://www.tangotiger.net/runsproduced.html

Anyways, sure $5k for OBP, 2B, and Runs Produced [(R+RBI)-HR]

How do we remember this in Oct?

u don't like "hustle"?

"False-hustle." I don't care for him either, he is a SPAZ.

In the field he misses the cut off man consistently on his throws and tries to be flashy.

At the plate he lacks discipline/patience and also tends to pop-up and foul out frequently... that is not effective. If you are putting the ball in play, it is far more effective to be hard hit outs, or groundballs where you may advance a runner and force the defense to make a play other than camp out under your moon ball to the first base foul line.

Having Tracy and Reynolds complicates things as well. Don't want Mark to lack confidence at the plate. I'd like to see Tony Clark be the spot start, as I believe he will be better with days rests and I also believe he is our best PH along with Tracy. Upton and Reynolds need to be in the lineup.... Byrnes just needs to go back to the DL.

I was willing to give Byrnes' false hustle another shot, but after watching him again yesterday, I am already going nuts. His home-run swing on every swing is so annoying. His swing is ridiculously flat and gets under every ball. Then he does that annoying squat down one hand follow through and looks like a moron.

The drop off in talent from Colorado's #1 starter (Cook) to #2 (Jimenez) is amazing if you compare what Arizona has at their top 2 starters

We might have a more consistent top of the rotation, but they have at least 3 guys with no hitter stuff.

There is a LOT of season left, but so far:

Tracy
.325 OBP
4 2B
10 Runs Produced

Clark
.211 OBP
0 2B
3 Runs Produced

So far Tracy is the only one that can hit this year. If he keeps it up Clark will not have a chance to catch him. But like you said there is a lot of season left.

This could be a long year if everyone continues to struggle.

Note to Melvin. The lineup last night, other than switching out Montero and Snyder, is your lineup all Season. DO NOT MESS WITH IT, either in the order, or players, other than to give players the occasional day off.

There is no doubt that last night's lineup is the best offensive unit the team can put out there. However, once we face another left-hander Byrnes and Tony Clark will be inserted right in.

Injuries were definitely a risk to both our guys, but yours had an added risk of being dropped from the roster altogether.
