Cards are entrenched at 8, with no R2 pick, and the following position players available to them have the same grade and are all ranked exactly equal on Cards' Board. Which of these positions would be best filled by one of the studs: OT, DT, LB, CB, or trade out?

Feel free to extrapolate regarding said player, in addition to voting in poll.

If all 4 were there and ranked the same, I would try to trade back only a couple of picks...like maybe with the Jets at 11...even if we only got a 3rd back. That way we would still get one of those 4 guys.

That being said, I want Simmons. You add him to what we have done in FA, and what we can do in the later rounds (more trench guys) and our defense could make a huge jump.

Those are all positions of need. Even trading back to #18, several will be there. The early 2nd rounder makes it way worthwhile. Period.

IMO of course.

Unless of course, you meant ONE great player available at each position.

I'll be the one guy that votes CB. If Okudah is there I think he would be tough to pass on. I also very much like Simmons and he would immediately make us better at covering TEs. Not sure we need a RT as much as those two positions. Maybe DT if the right guy falls to us.

There is basically about 10 to 12.players I'd be happy with in the first round. If we could trade down and still get one. I'd be happy.

If we get super lucky and trade back for the raiders 2 1st round picks, I'd take klavon chiasson and then either grant delpit or Kenneth murry with the latter pick.

Trading back depends on how high they rate Jodh Jones the tackle from Houston. If they are higher on him than most I could see trading back to get him later. Then getting an additional 2nd round pick.

Okudah on one side P2 on the other, Murphy covering the slot would be ideal, teams quite frankly would have a problem even completing a pass sometimes...Not a fan of taking another OL so high to play on the right side..

I voted OL, my caveat is that if Simmons is there we must take him, regardless of who else is on the board
