For the long distance fans, does anyone know if tonights game will be on Direct TV or on the internet? Even an audio is better than nothing

According to DirecTV's website, the game won't be broadcast "live." It will be rebroadcast Saturday 2:30 am ET on NFL Network Ch 212. (This is a revision from the 2:00 am Sat. air-time they've shown on their on-screen grid. (To be on the safe side, you may want to tune in/record at least a half-hour earlier). The game is also scheduled to be rebroadcasted a couple more times within a few days.

SIRIUS satellite radio will carry the game "live" on Ch 137 at 10 pm ET tonight.

I'm not sure how the nfl.com archived audio replay works, but the game should be available for streaming/listening soon after its completion. (You may have to be a paid subscriber to listen).

There is also a written play by play log of the game on nfl.com in their Game Results section (once you're there, click the Game Book linky).

Standard words of caution - (1) recheck DirecTV's air-times right up to kickoff. (They've been known to change the schedule at the last minute). (2) If you don't live in AZ - if FSN - AZ is carrying the game, don't be sucked in. In the past, there's been a 95% chance they'd black it out.

Hope this helps.

it is my understanding that ALL of the NFL preseason games are going to be streamed online in HD.

HERE IS THE LINK

Just checked out their site, they're asking for twenty bucks to watch pre-season football from your computer...yuck.

For the IT folks...I guess it would be possible to feed your laptop to your television??? Assuming the picture would suck big time.

Thoughts? Not opposed to paying $5 a game but only if I can watch it with on my TV somehow.

Don't know if any of these stations stream online, but if you're in their local area broadcast (including Hawaii !!) it may benefit a few of you.

Also I remember KBLU had streaming live audio at one time. Hopefully they're still doing it this year.

I will tell you how it comes out. I am doing what you state above. I will be streaming the game via the internet on my TV.

Shoot, I'm going to grab the laptop now and test whether I can project onto my TV a video, if it works and the pic is halfway decent I'll going this route too.

Technical question:
I have a blu ray player that has wireless connect to things such as netflix & pandora via my wireless access point. Does anyone know if this player can be set up to stream a live feed from the computer?

That explains the channel 58 listing in my local paper, I knew there wasn't a channel 58 around my area. It's tape delayed at 9 for me which is pretty typical for preseason Raiders games.

IT was a choppy, not really bad, but it was still choppy. Picture was OK.

For $20 ? I thought it was worth it. I could only stay up for the 1st half tho, work and all.

But yes, I was able to watch it through my computer on the TV.

Geek Moment:
If I had a better video card (I played it cheap there) then the picture would be less choppy, and I could use a better resolution.
