I have a great Terrell Davis story. I was using the men's room at the airport and notice who I thought was him standing next to me using the urinal. I didn't want to look you know it's two guys use in the urinal. I couldn't help it I kept glancing over at him just to know if it was him. After an awkward stare I got out of there.

Finally comes out of the restroom and sees me standing in the aisle way and shakes his head and walks up and says hi I'm Terrell Davis and shook my hand. I told him I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you I didn't want to be that guy. He smiled and looked at me and he said you're that guy. He said it's okay and shook my hand again and walked away. I just said to my son that's TD as if he knew what I was saying.

True story.

Gabberts reputation as a checkdown guy didn't stand up under scrutiny in the first half. He didn't throw bombs but he drove the ball down the field. Mixed it up nicely.

I was impressed with his accuracy... every pass was a catchable ball... nothing thrown behind guys or over their heads like Stanton constantly does. Gabbert had zip on his intermediate throws (15-20 yds) & marched us down the field. He ran the 2 minute drill well & got us in position for a FG attempt. His only mistakes were the sack/fumble & poor decision on the throw to Hogan. Hogan looked focused on getting out of bounds to stop the clock (which makes sense) so he didn't come back for the ball that was thrown a little behind him.

Well, my impressions of the respective lines in the 1st half. The offensive line was excellent in pass protection but horrid in run blocking. I understand it's pre-season and not many of these guys will be on the roster after next week's game but they have to do better. Defensive line was good in the 1st quarter but once the 3rd team came in, no pressure.

As far as Williams is concerned, ugh! If this was a regular season game I think the INT would have been overturned. It appeared that by the time he had possession, his second foot down was partially out of bounds.
