Can that be taught at the NFL level? If so, Cunningham could be really good. His name is not being discussed like it used to be, so he may fall down the draft board. He would be a steal for us in the 2nd round but 99% sure he won't make it.

If Foster and Davis are gone...I wouldn't mind a trade down for Cunningham. If we got an extra #2, I would feel a lot better about taking a shot at QB.

Tackling can be taught...but it takes time and reps to correct it---old habits and muscle memories are hard to break.

If you have to re-train an ILB how to tackle, is he worthy of a high draft pick?

coaching can fix the issues ZC has.... but he is not an impact player in his rookie year...would however be perfect to sit behind KD for a year while he adjusts his technique.
I have been a ZC fan for a while.... a month ago he was a stretch at 13,..more suited to pick 20-25... but boards are changing, guys like watt are coming up.....there is a chance ZC could be there with our second round pick and if he is the redbirds need to snatch him up

Even if ZC is there in the second round, I'm guessing the position (ILB) will be addressed in the first round with Foster, if available, but probably won't be, then with Reddick. Based on Mitch and Jeff's evaluation of ZC, the only way we draft him is if we trade down in the first or trade out of the first.

Agree.

But my instincts say that, unless we draft Foster, we'll come away with a S, WR, QB and CB with our first four picks (not necessarily in that order with one of which would be an extra Day 2 pick obtained by trading down).

Note - Kudos to the Cards for making their FO seem very transparent but, in fact, telling us absolutely nothing.
