It's getting kicked around a lot, figured a poll is appropriate.

It seems pretty unanimous that this board prefers Ayton if we get the top pick, after that it gets really murky.

So, you have THREE votes to dish out, use all of the them please. Lets get a real pulse of the mood.

I really didn't want to go 3 deep with my answer. For me, Ayton and Young are easy choices but I really have a hard time choosing between Bagley and Doncic (and even JJJ).

This is really tough. I went with Ayton, Doncic, and Bagley because I think they are the safest picks. Young really deserves to be in there too. Porter and JJJ are very interesting, but definitely more risky.

It all depends on which teams select !st, 2nd and 3rd picks.

And whether those teams practice BPA of fill their greatest need.

That has to be part of the equation.

I went Ayton, Doncic, Young.

I just think Young has more upside than Bagley. Plus I'd like to see a real pg and a new coach work with Chriss/Bender to maybe turn them around.

Most people here are saying our needs are C and PG. IMO, our need at PF is greater than that at the point and I believe we can get a good PG in a trade or free agency. So I went with three bigs - Ayton, Bagley, Bamba. If, by some freakish turn of events, we had a chance to draft two of these three I'd do it.

I don't like Young paired with Booker in the backcourt, I foresee too little defense - not a big surprise, of course. I'd be interested to see what Koko could do with Payton, but I don't think he'll have the opportunity.

I’m not sure there’s a team in the top-5 that wouldn’t take Ayton. Dallas and Atlanta would for sure. Orlando, like us, need both a PG and C. Memphis has both but they’re aging and expensive. Maybe only the Grizz wouldn’t take him #1.

I'm thinking 1. Ayton, 2. Doncic, 3. Bagley, 4. Young and 5. Jaren Jackson Jr. in that order.

I think picks #2 and #3 can easily flip-flop. The same with picks #4 and #5.

Obviously after the NBA Draft Combine and individual workouts draft order preferences may change especially in regard to Young.
