Two Tribes is a great video, but Jump is a classic

Yep, Jump is a classic. That one was played a lot on MTV 84-86 when I watched a LOT of MTV. I had never seen the Two Tribes video. Pretty funny...I'll have to watch it a few times before voting.

I think I first saw jump around 1990 on MTV. it might of been the first Van Halen video I saw. I was confused because that was the van Hagar era where I was listening to active Van Hagar songs on the radio, and I was like who the hell is that guy jumping around in the video. I also love EVH's keyboard solo in that song.

Good song and iconic band, but there's nothing overly special about the Jump music video. Sure, there's nostalgia, but shooting the band performing on a sound stage isn't very original. Two Tribes has a story, so based on the music video, that one wins. The song, however, is a slaughter by Van Halen.

Frankie has to win this one. Jump, while a huge hit, is just a generic band video. Two tribes at least has a theme in the video that matches the lyrics of the song....obviously FGTH put way more thought into their video than VH did.

offer me a choice of concert tickets and I take VH 100 of 100 times
same with music to listen too. But this is about the video,...and VH was too caught up in their stardom to put any effort into Jump...

Maybe try Hot for Teacher instead.

True, but David Lee Roth is so entertaining in this one.
