The Florida Gators beat the Alabama Crimson Tide in the quarterfinal round of the SEC Tournament on Saturday afternoon, 104-82, to set up a matchup with the Tennessee Volunteers in the conference finals.
It was a game that was tightly contested early on, with Todd Golden's team taking a two-point lead into halftime. However, the Orange and Blue turned forced the issue in the second half, pulling out to a double-digit lead that would go unchallenged until the final horn.
As one might expect, the program and its fans are absolutely ecstatic with the win, and as is their wont, took to social media after the game to express their elation. Below is a sampling of some of the reactions on Twitter after the event.

Florida should be a No. 1 seed. I don’t care what the Gators’ matchups look like. They’re my pick to win it all.

The Gators not only beat the brakes off Alabama - they set an SEC Tournament scoring record (104 points). You can’t tell me Florida isn’t the best team in the country

Florida now ranks second in the country in KenPom and 6th all time in the database (1997).
The Gators are a 1 seed.
Tennessee may earn one, too— but it certainly shouldn’t be at Florida’s expense.

Gators and Cougars are on another level right now. I think the actual talent of UF went under the radar because they were never fully healthy. Their bench is a top 25 team.

I’ve been a very busy man. Haven’t gotten to see too much @NCAA BBall. But after just watching @GatorsMBK roll over @AlabamaMBB in the SEC Semis, I gotta admit: they look real as hell. Size. Athleticism. Shooting. Defense. @JoakimNoah and @AlHorford gotta be proud. They’ve got a…
