last wed a tornado ripped apart my house. we were in the tornado shelter and everyone is all right. In Okla we have tornado shelters like people in Phoenix has swimming pools... But my Cardinal room took a direct hit. I have been collecting Chicago,St Louis, Phoenix and Arizona Cardinal stuff for 40 yrs. And it hurts to say I lost about 40 percent of it. The house will be rebuilt, and I hope to be back in the Cardinal room by the second preseason game. what the hell ,Oklahoma weather Right.

Sorry for your loss, I have to say I think you seem to have a good attitude about it. I would likely be devastated, not because of the Cardinal collectibles, just because of the loss of my home and neighborhood.

I hope the rebuilding process goes as smoothly as possible for you and I'm glad to hear you and your family are safe.

Time to move the cardinal room into the basement!

Glad you guys made it out ok and glad you have a shelter, I know not everyone out there does. Stay safe.

I also live in "tornado alley" (near Joplin) and know how devastating these things can be. Glad to hear you all are OK and able to rebuild. Stuff is just stuff but people are irreplaceable. Best of luck.

Just moved to Tulsa from tempe about a month ago for work. Haven't washed my truck since it's rained at least every 3 days. From what I understand Tulsa doesn't really get hit with tornadoes but we get the effects of them.

Be back home in the hot ass dry heat by the end of June can't wait

Glad you and your family are ok!

I just don't think I could live there. It seems like a magnet for big tornados.

Glad everyone is ok. I lived in Kansas for a few years in the 80's. Had a couple of close calls with tornadoes while there. There was nothing more frightening than having the tornado alarms go off at 3AM, and no way to know where it was coming from, or if it was really coming this time.

I deal with the occasional hurricane now, but at least I have a few days notice.

Take care man.

What a horrible thing. I'm glad you and your family are all right. That's what counts most.

I don't have a lot of Cards memorabilia but I have a sign commemorating the 2008 NFC Championship I would gladly send you to help return the vibe to your Cardinals room. I'd bet there are others on this board who would happily do the same.

Let me/us know when you new room is ready or shoot me a DM. The Birdgang is stronger than Mother Nature.

Behind you
It's just stuff
With the insurance money you can buy a ton of it back...that's why eBay is there
Claim you had a ton more than you did :) Tillman's orig. jersey, Warners Super Bowl Jersey, Fitzgeralds Super Bowl Jersey and TD ball...lol

I can't imagine how scary that had to sound ....glad you guys are alright. In the end it's all just stuff and can be regained. Family and life are priceless.

Glad you're safe. Maybe you can tell us some of the stuff you lost and we can replace it if we have multiples. Think about it like this though, the tornado spread Cardinals awareness by scattering that stuff around your town. Bright sides!

Yeah, that.

I have plenty of stuff I can send you. I understand that it's all pretty low on your priority list right now and that you're going to be very busy the next few weeks getting your life back together. Whenever you get around to it, let us know.

I moved my wife out here from Tulsa almost 10 years ago and she does not miss being there one bit. This is home to her/us and never plan on leaving. Also, we bought our home we are living in now (1 year ago) off friends that we know and they moved to Tulsa. They are originally from Tulsa, but the funny thing is we found out today that they are moving back either this summer or next summer as soon as they sell their house. Guess they didn't realize how awesome it really is to live here in comparison to there

I have some extra stuff too, game towels, programs, etc. let me know.

I even have a great addition if you have a larger cardinals room that I no longer use and guarantee you did not have previously. its a one of a kind.

So sorry for your tragedy. I agree if you let us know what you lost we can help replace it! I have a lot of stuff from the 80's and 90's just sitting in storage.

Yeah, what a great time to commit insurance fraud! :mulli:
