This game will be all small ball, book it.

The Raptors starters are

Bosh
Marshall
Carter
Peterson
Williams

I bet 10$ that D'Antoni will quickly put Marion on Marshall, Amare on Bosh, JJ on Carter, Jacobsen on Peterson and Barbosa on Williams or Palacio, whoever plays.

Should be a fun game to watch/listen to.

I am looking forward to Amare beating up on Bosh.

Are you kidding me Slin? I would put Jahidi in just to be a wrecking ball in the middle! Those poor Raptors would be blasted out of the paint by Jahadi! They have noone who can muscle him back. Then again it is D'Antoni and he wouldn't put in our rebounders last game even when Utah had double digits in second chance points!! :D

Keep that sense of humor handy, Yuma; you may want to use it again tonight.:)

It would help if the Suns offense did not go to sleep at the start of the game, which forces D'Antoni to got to the trap to catch up.

It would be interesting to see what White could do against Bosh -- at least for a few minutes. He all but destroyed Cook of the Lakers - another sharp shooting forward type.

Yuma, Mike Tulumello was on radio this afternoon and said that the Suns are desperately trying to unload Jahidi but nobody will take him.

Also, I don't post often on this board, but since coach after coach keeps going back to small ball, how much more evidence do you guys need that our bigs are lousy?

Little Jake plays hard but the guy is the dumbest foul taker I've ever seen.

Stoudemire can't shoot.

Jahidi is slow, dumb, and utterly worthless.

Cabarcapa is hurt and has a bruised psyche.

Lampe? I have no idea.

Williams? Gone.

Terrific coaching so far.

That might be the first time in a loooong time that Shawn Marion turned down a wide open 3 pointer... :D

Was any of the 10 3pt shots by Peterson not wide open in the corner?

:barf:

Eisley, Jacobsen and Harvey. Our entire bench for tonight it looks like.
Well I doubt Harvey will get minutes in the 2nd half.

Wait wait, Jahidi is in the game? A guest appearance at AWA tonight!

Eisley, Barbosa, Jacobsen, Johnson, White ----> What a joke of a lineup, honestly.

Well Stoudemire has 4 fouls and Marion just got a Elbow upside the head from Marshall.

The Suns are getting beat up by the Raptors right now, they really need to get tougher.

Toronto closing out the end of quarters. What is the Suns problem with no being able to finish?

Oh I love small ball.

Giving up 3 or more dunks in a row in the 4th, isn't that fun to watch?

Marshall dunks the ball, timeout Phoenix, Marion immediately loses the ball on the first play after the timeout, dunk toronto, barbosa misses a shot, dunk toronto, again timeout.

And JJ not getting the ball offensively to take over?

Voshkul attempted almost as many shots as JJ and is only 5-13.

Dominated on the glass again by a not so good rebounding team.

I take back an early comment in another thread. I wouldn't actually mind if Jacobsen would be on the IR next season or traded.

On the Toronto broadcast they made an interessting point.

Shawn Marion shoots more 3s than freethrows.

Tonight 0-3 3s, and 0-0 FTs. If Marion wasn't shooting technicals and intentional freethrows he would be shooting no freethrows.

Marshall has been averaging 18/10 in Toronto, I knew he would light up Shawn Marion head to head. I think he always did in the past.

Morris Peterson got 8 rebounds on top of his 7 3pters and the Raptors small ball outrebounds us by 10. :bigyawn:

Shawn Marion's butterhands just let to Amare's 6th foul. 2 critical turnovers by Marion in the 4th that lead to fastbreak points for Toronto. :(

4th worst.

If Washington goes 2-3 in their next 5 they would be tied with us and win the tiebreaker.

Marshall has always been a Suns killer. It is not just tonight it is everytime he plays the Suns.

I am so frustrated with this team. They were in control at one point and blew it.

Carter gets away with so much. On the Eisley miss at the end Voskuhl was going for the offensive rebound and Carter shoved him in the back and grabs the board. Earlier Marion got an offensive rebound despite Carter shoving him in the chest.

Suns should have killed the Raptors tonight. I am just pissed beyond words right now.

THIS SUCKS!!!!!!

I'm guessing that you didn't watch the game because Shawn Marion spent most of his time on Vince Carter, not Donyell Marshall. Marshall was guarded by Amare most of the time.

That said, the first half was a brilliant coaching job by D'Antoni, but it seems that the philosophy changes for the 2nd half, and that is actually mind-boggling.

Is Howard Eisley the worst Suns PG to get more than 20mpg in the last 15 years or ever?

Can't think of someone worse than him.

Chaplin is dead on here. Amare just got his butt kicked tonight.
