Tour de France organizers are hardly thrilled at the prospect of Lance Armstrong returning for a shot at an eighth victory in cycling's showcase event. This one just kills me. On the one hand it's great that Armstrong still wants to compete and he's doing it for free he's going to donate any earnings to cancer research.

But this is so calculated. The team he wants to ride for was banned from this years TDF for doping allegations. Armstrong has pledged to make his full bloodworks publicly available on the web, but note, these are "internally done" which means people he hires are going to do these bloodworks, these are not the official drug tests he'll undergo at various events and random samplings. The idea is he will post his bloodwork for all to see so if he fails another test or is accused of doping he can say see this is my real bloodwork that test is wrong.

He's been accusing people of being out to get him for years and now he thinks the solution is to pay people to test him and that any skeptics will just take for granted that his internal tests are legitimate?
