Exactly, Suggs for Bryant Johmson and Calvin Pace trade down.

Believe me I wanted Suggs and I was yelling at the television when we traded down I thought almost all experts had Johns and Pace way below Suggs in this case though I think it's a crapshoot when it comes to consensus almost all of the draft pundits have different view points on the players..

Henderson and Kinlaw would not be there.

At 18 you are looking at someone like Murray, or Josh Jones. Feels like there is a drop off after 16 to me.

Not that I can see.. Let's look at who should go in the top 18... and as I mentioned after the first 2 there is an argument on who is the best player at each position.. Some people even like Kinlaw over Brown... I don't like Wirfs that much and prefer Wills and Thomas as shown by my ranking and Becton just seems like a risk but might have the most upside with his huge size.. I'm counting on Keim to take one of these guys and I'm counting on most of the world really not knowing is going to be better..

1. Simmons OLB
2. Okuduh CB
3. Wills OL
4. Thomas OL
5. Wirfs OL
6. Brown DT
7. Lamb WR
8. Jeudy WR
9. Ruggs WR
10. Kinlaw DT
11. Chiasson OLB
12. Becton OL
13. Henderson

Guys we're not going to get

14. Young
15. Burrow
16. Tagovailoa
17. Herbert

According to Mel Kiper's ranking he has Murray ILB ranked 18, Jefferson WR 16 & Mckinney S 15..

Others have Becton at 19 & 20 Ruggs even though some argue Becton should be the 1st Oline Drafted and Ruggs should be the 1st Wide Receiver!

If it went the way Mel Kiper's board and some other pundits for that matter have it we would have one of the top 10 picks available...

I would take Ruggs for an extra second rounder, and even Becton.

Again some groups have them ranked 1# at their position.. I think it is a crap shoot..

I count 13 great prospects in this draft..... So that means picks 14 to 16 are going to want to move up and they should be FLEECED for the opportunity to move to 8. 2 second rounders this year or a 1st next and a 3rd this year. That's all I would be willing to accept and neither team has two 2nd's.

And from the reports out there (combined with just a bit of experience), the Bucs and the Falcons are the most willing to mortgage their future to win today.

We lose out on:
Young, Kinlaw, Brown
Okudah, Henderson
Simmons
Jeudy, Lamb, Ruggs (on the fence)
Wills, Wirfs, Thomas, Becton (on the fence)
Burrow, Herbert, Tua

That's the first 15 to 16 IMO.

Remove Becton & Ruggs and you have 13 great prospects IMO.

Remember.....
--Cleveland, & the Jets have no reason to move up IMO unless they make the ultimate mistake of falling in love with a particular player. They will get a TOP WR or OT regardless of their position.
--The Mike Mayock lead Raiders will probably never trade draft assets for a move up unless its a franchise defining QB. Something they dont truly need right now.
--And we wont do business with San Fran IMO.

That leaves the Bucs (14), Broncos (15), or Falcons (16) before you get to the Cowboys at 17. And since I think they choose Chaisson, I wouldn't want to go further than Atlanta at 16.

If we move to 16, then Chaisson is probably our best bet and I don't like that bet unless we FLEECE our trade partner.

Johnson was the bad pick, not Pace. We also got a guy named Anquan Boldin. We obviously had a devoid WR corps at the time.

Damn...Suggs and Boldin would have been awesome. Ozzie Newsome kind of draft.

I don't think that is the consensus blue chippers, again according to Mel Kipper, they have McKinney, Jefferson , Chiasson, Murray going before Becton and Ruggs..

We could remove Ruggs but I think some teams would take him first out of the wide receivers and some might pick Becton first for their Olineman.. when there is that much flip flopping I see it fairly even...

Ok below is the list from Kiper (I believe I can just type his preferences..)

1. Young
2. Burrow
3. Okudah
4. Simmons
5. Tagovailoa
6. Brown
7. Wills
8. Jeudy
9.Herbert
10. Wirfs
11. Kinlaw
12. Lamb
13.Henderson
14. Thomas
15. Mckinney
16. Jefferson WR

17. Chaisson
18 Murray
19. Becton
20. Ruggs

Ironicall Love is at 21 (will someone move up to get him)?

I highlighted In Red the guys I didn't think anyone was excited about, I highlight in Green guys that some people on this board wanted to pick as our 8 the pick!

I really believe there will be at least one or two curveballs before our picks that aren't even one of those 20, there always seems to be..

I think one of my top 13 will be there at 18.. hell my 9th and 12th will be there according to this list! Yes I like the alternatives to them a little better but I'm not so sure that I would pass up a second to take them. For me it's almost 1a, 1b, 1c instead of 1, 2, 3.. they bring different strengths than my first choice but it might not be necessarily worse...

Exactly, Suggs for Bryant Johmson and Calvin Pace trade down.

Who is the Suggs this year? Simmons - if he is there, than I am against the trade down.

I really wish people would stop bringing this up, it is not the same situation and it never will be - every draft class is different, and Keim could make better choices on the trade down this time around.

I do like Justin Jefferson quite a bit. I think he is going to be a quality starter for a decade plus. For some reason I feel like he is going to be a packer - he feels like a packers WR.

Yes Keim getting cute and is going to wind up with Pace and Bryant Johnson, Andy Isabella, Troy Niklaus and Brandon William's. This is the guy that took Reddick, Cooper, Robert Nkemdiche,.
Go back and look Keim drafts, he cant draft at all SMH. Stick to bluechippers, Keim is a moron draft time

Yes, I see it the same way.

I don't think I want to go down to more than 16 - and actually 14 would be a lot better.

Raiders aren't moving unless they love one WR more than the other 2, but I think they like all 3.

At 14 I think the pick will be Jeudy or Ruggs, at 16 I think it would be Chaisson.

No, that list was how he ranks the players not who will pick them... I've seen more difference of opinion on the best player at each position than I can recall and I think it is because the talent is pretty even..so at that point I would take a second.

I don't know if I would trade down if Simmons was there, I would possibly want a 2nd and a 3rd for that or maybe not do it at all, that would be a tough one...

Trade 8 for 13 & 45 w/ the Bucs. Then:

13. Kinlaw, DT
45. Pittman, WR
72. Robertson, CB
114. Moss, RB
131. Charles, OG/OT

At pick 16..... Of your list.......

Only Thompson or Ruggs even have a shot of still being there. And of those two..... Thompson is the only one I can realistically see available.

Laremy Tunsil hot boxed in a gas mask on social media and still went at pick 13. Becton won't be there and may be the 4th pick still for all we know.

Lamb, Wirfs, Kinlaw, Wills, & Jeudy will be long gone before 16. Like...... no shot.

If you go back and look at the patriots, their hit rate really isnt any better. The draft is a crap shoot, every year their are a handful of "cant miss" players. Most of them miss.

This draft can't come soon enough.

Starting to think that some will start suggesting we trade out of the first round if the wait goes on much longer.

There was several people on here and experts who have said Ruggs has the best potential at Receiver and Harry mentioned that there are several "experts" who feel Kinlaw is better than Brown. I have seen each tackle ranked at 1st on one site or another. Do we really know so much that we would risk not getting a 2nd round pick if we trade down?

I can't wait to go back in a couple years and see who the best OL, WR, DT was.. since there is so many differing opinions.. I'd rather gamble on two players at that point instead of one..and maybe get really lucky and get two of them! I would take Simmons at 8 though...
