Trade exception?

So does this Shaq deal make it more or less likely that the KT trade exception gets used before the deadline?

Probably less likely but I'd like to think there's still one more piece to this puzzle that we haven't figured out quite yet.

As of right now, the Suns need one more player. They filled Marion's big-man minutes but his swingman minutes are empty.

I guess we'll see now how much that championship is really worth...

Players that could be somewhat realistically had for the trade exception include Artest and Cassell, both of whom would fill the missing swingman minutes.

If we're going to gamble for the ring, might as well go big!
