Rosen has every right to be pissed at the front office. They did him dirty. Plain and simple.

Rosen handled the situation with more professionalism than Kliff, Bidwill and Keim, which is why I laugh when Steve Smith (of all people) lambastes Rosen on NFLN.

Definitely a black mark for the front office.

Yeah drafting Rosen was a black mark. Glad they got something for the stiff, but they gave up way too much to get him. Luckily the Dolphins were suckers enough to take him.

What's funny is that the Dolphins offensive line was about as bad as the Cardinals last year.

Gambo was right in DK Metcalf btw. They took Isabella over him. We hated him apparently

I remember when you were #TeamRosen in January. You went full Anakin Sywalker/Darth Vader in your conversion

Yep. I was delusional until I saw just how historically bad Rosen was and opened my mind to what Murray is.

I believe in the law of averages and Rosen has like a 1 in 10 chance of being good after what he showed last year. That's based on all the other rookie QBs that have had horrible seasons like him and bounced back. The chances arent good.

I also flipped. A big part of my job is risk management through data analysis

I remember how many times you've called people morons for seeing Kevin Kolb for the fraud he is. I remember how many times you called people morons for believing that Keim was a bad GM... or they were morons for thinking we were going to trade Josh and take Murray?

Just because you can't see the train coming down the tracks until it's run over you, doesn't mean others do the same.

Effing shameful. Shambolic.

Good trade. We had no leverage. It's over now.

Terrible trade because we bumbled away any leverage we had by acting like slobbering morons.

I, too, make a lot of work decisions based on data and variable analysis. From a risk management standpoint, I did the opposite given all of the red flags and outliers that came with Murray compared to Bosa/Williams and the consideration we were taking one of them with the first overall pick.

I don’t see a world in which Murray will be a bust, but I see one in which he’s either just average or potentially splits for baseball.

I was mostly busting your balls :)

Fun discussions. Hope we can celebrate super bowls together while Mason Cole gives Murray a piggy back ride to the Lombardi

I literally never get mad on this board anymore and I type every comment with a smile on my face.

The Cardinals are a doomed franchise but the blind squirrel finds a nut occasionally. Maybe this all works out and I think what the team is doing is "fun".

I was elated that we drafted Rosen last year. Thought for sure that he was OUR qbotf. I think I would like to have given him at least one more year, maybe two, before going in another direction. I still think he will be a good qb, just not with us, now.

He reminds me of a young Gabbert (and somewhat of Leinart) in what was expected of him by others. The main difference is that he has only had one season to prove himself which is really not long enough, in my estimation.

I think that once Keim (?) (or was it Bidwill) made the decision(s) to go with KK and Murray, then they almost had to get rid of JR. For whatever reason (in today's world, who knows what the real truth is) they only got a mid to low second for him. I know it's not two firsts and a second, or whatever people were wishing for (unrealistically imo).

I do get tired of people blaming, calling names, making fun of others when they disagree or make unpopular decisions. They never stop with the criticism.
Irritating. :deadhorse2::soapbox:

You don’t know what was really going on behind the scenes. As I said Rosen would have been an idiot to not see the possibility of this happening. He came to ota’s because if there was any chance of him making this team it’s what he needed to do. He did what he needed to do to make himself more attractive to other teams. Everything the Cardinals said in the media was also a way to make him more attractive to other teams IF the chose Murray. I also believe Rosen could have remained here and fought for the starting job but I believe HE made it clear he wanted out. He’s no different then us other than being a millionaire. Like us , you get up and go to work do your best. If you’re unhappy you look for another job. And like many of us sometimes we bet laid off. I know because it happened to me.
