Even if with graves as our gm, i don't think he'd do that to Bert. How many players now days are willing to take paycuts to remain a part of the team? You think we'd reward that by trading him? But yeah, i don't see a trade happening at all. At least, not until next year. Trades in the NFL are rare as they are.. especially ones that involve a front office appeasing to a holdout player.

Sure but in the end Q hasn't been on a team that won more than 8 games in his NFL career so how valuable have those intangibles been?

Not his fault of course but again his value to other teams is going to can he help us win more games, not is he a great guy.

That's why this whole issue bugs me, Q is more valuable to the cards than he would be to any other NFL team, he has a history here, the fan base loves him, he's been a part of the resurgence, he's one of the reasons we have the new stadium. For him to do what he's doing now really surprises me. I knew Rosenhaus was evil but I didn't realize how evil until now.

Drew Rosenhaus has managed to get a special guy like Anquan Boldin in a short time to completely forget what he's stood for in the past and just boil it all down to money.

Well said. It's all about how much money you get paid.

One thing I would not do is trade the guy. I take the Cincinnati approach on that. Stop b!tching, play the season, have a good year, stay healthy, and you will be rewarded. Your income is already in the top 1% of the population, if not the top .1%. Appreciate what you have, and work hard. Skipping the off-season, not talking to your head coach, and acting like a total @ss is soooooooo beneath you Q.

I'm one guy who thinks you do deserve a new deal, but acting like a two-year baby screaming at the top of its lungs is a lousy way to approach the situation. Instead, try going out and having a pro-bowl season, and put the ball squarely in the Cardinals' court.

Make It So!!!!

I was thinking the same thing last nite. WE get a "play-maker" in SUGGS and Q's happy and in another conference. GO CARDS!

I disagree. I think what Q brings in terms of intangibles is priceless. Before all of this blew up there wasn't one Cards fan that questioned Q's desire and work ethic. He sets a great example on the field and in the locker room. He is a born leader and guys that lead by example are hard to replace. I think we should be careful what we wish for. If we HAVE to make the trade I think a deal with Mami for a 1st round pick would be good. I'm pretty sure it will be a high pick so we could pick up a top tackle or RB or Corner.

You could say the same thing about Manram of the Bosox. He was great until he decided he wanted to play somewhere else and then he started to walk to first base on ground balls. Cannot live with a player who does not want to play for you and starts to dog it. The way he is blasting the Cards now I would not be surprised to see him dog it for us.

Dont think it works salary wise. I think we would have to add someone into the mix.

Mr. "B"...!!! Not really. Keep Berry, If Q is as good as he thinks he is then We should get Suggs + 2nd and 4th round pick. Sugggs just signed his franchised contract. It is for $8.5 Million this year. and "Q" is getting about $4.5 Million if all goes well. So We should get more compensation for that Trade, not the other way around.

It's not like he took a pay cut out of the kindness of his heart. The writing was on the wall that he would get cut if his salary 4.5 million (or whatever the exact number was) so his motivation was to keep his job and make a million versus lose his job and look for work elsewhere. I like Berry as much as the next guy but let's not make him out as a humanitarian who just gives money back to the team for the heck of it.
