Hearing a lot about this the last few days. 98.7 FM sports hosts were discussing it yesterday and it's on 910 AM this morning, too.

It's a bit of a troll job/clickbait. This is like a reverse Larry Fitzgerald (Don't try without stretching).

That said, I'd trade for JJ in a heartbeat if the comp was #27 + 2025 first. Then pay him all the money.
My sources with the Pioneer Press suggest that Larry Fitzgerald Sr helped negotiate this deal.

You don't think 4 & 27 for Jefferson and 11 gets it done?

he is due to hit free agency, hes elite and would help rebrand this franchise but not for that draft capital

Boldin got traded for two 3rds---

give 'em 2 3rds and a second next year. Still gotta pay the guy
Boldin was not happy. that impacts things.

Versus getting Marvin Harrison Junior on a rookie contract and still having your 27th and first round pick next year?

Hard pass

Sounds pretty dumb and when you can just keep your Draft Capitol and grab MHJ or Nabers and have 5 years of cost control to boot. No way in hell.

I don't think you have to give up a future first. Previous trades of high end WR's suggests something like 27 and a 3rd would get the job done.

I would do that deal, because he is still young and in my estimation he is likely better than Marvin Harrison and for that price he would cost you less other than salary compensation.

Yeah I don't get this. JJ is great, but your looking at two 1sts and $30m a year.

Why do that when you can get MHJ at #4 for less than $10m a year for 4 years and a cheap 5th year option?

Nothing is certain, but he's about as certain as they come.

Him and Kyler are good friends. Dont see Monti doing it though. Although it would give him the out to draft OL early like some have speculated.
