How about this Cleveland-Phoenix trade?

Phoenix trades:
SG Casey Jacobsen
C Jahidi White
Cleveland future 1st round pick

Phoenix receives:
SF Darius Miles
C Desagana Diop

Darius Miles is FA at the end of the season. Diop would be the replacement for Jahidi White. (Though I could be wrong about Miles contract status)

I guess the Cavs would rather trade Miles than Eric Williams because Silas said he would rather surround Lebron with hard workers and mature veteran players.

While Miles would be acquired to give us more cap room in the offseason he could also be part of a backup plan.

If we want to use one of our future picks to dump a contract Cleveland might be a preferred choice because we hold the rights to their future first round pick for like half a decade now.

Slinslin, This is not bad........

I usually do not like these fantasy trades, but Diop is finally starting to play well.

Not sure Cleveland would trade Diop, but maybe they would.
They want to move Ilgauskas because he is injury prone and they traded Mihm to Boston already.

New York Knicks (Isiah Thomas) is trying to trade for Miles, so we could always get rid of him or have a 3 team trade.

Desagana Diop
Height: 7-0
Weight: 280 lbs.
Pos: FC
Age: 21
Born: January 30, 1982, Dakar ,
Drafted: 2001, 1st round, 8th pick by Cavaliers

This trade shows just how bigman starved Suns fans have been over the years.

Diop
Jake
Lampe
Williams
Amare
Dice
Zarko

That's the depth chart on our center position (in no particular order). I suppose you'll want to draft a couple as well.

I think we're becoming "center junkies."

i've heard that cleveland is somewhat high on diop. it would take more that casey and white to get him and miles.

It might, but they want to get rid of Miles so that would help.

Frank Williams isn't exactly stunning. I would probably rather have my pick back than Frank Williams, he can't find minutes anymore on the Knicks.

he was new yorks staring point guard until he got hurt. he still isn't 100%, that's why he hasn't played lately. he is still very young also, i think this is only his second year in the league.

That doesn't really mean anything, I look at his stats and they are not impressive at all.

He had just one good assist game and a couple of games where he scored 18.

Yes I know there were those trade rumors of Othella and Williams for Miles or something like that, that's why I thought the Suns could offer something better.

even if miles goes elsewhere i'd love to try to get my hands on diop. i think the suns should start collecting young, raw 7 footers. if we get enough of them at least one has to pan out and solve our center woes.

This is one of the rare trade ideas that isnt a bad idea and I dont think it overly favors either team. nice one.

Diop was injured and did not return until this week.

His game by game stats have not shown much offense, since he has not had a single double digit scoring game this season. However, his rebounding has been decent for the number of minutes he has been playing such as 7 in 14 minutes against Toronto and 5 in 14 mintues against New York.

There has been a lot of talk they might try to move Zydrunas Ilgauskas. At $13.5 million this year and $14.6 million next year, he is a bit pricy for a guy who is injury prone and poor defensively. However, a guy who shoots career 47.% from the field, 14.1 ppg, grabs 7.5 rpg and is 7'3" - there could be takers. But he goes, the only serious minute center they have is Tony Battie. The Cavs would need Diop if Zydrunas goes, but could live without him if Ilgauskas stays.
