Wouldn't it be something if Winston ended up in Chicago and Marcus went to San Diego?

I seen a rumor somewhere on the internet ( sbnatioon.com or rant sports.com)

that Keim called Houston and asked if we could trade up to 16 if " our guy" is

there...also heard Eagles offered the Browns Bradford for Manziel and a pick...

Vikes fan living in Chicago here. Speculation among the Bears fans I hang around with is Cutler going to Tennessee for their first round pick. Nothing has been said by the team, it is just media and fans driving it. I would be somewhat surprised if the Vikings don't trade back to aquire more picks but I think you guys are too far back to entice Spielman to trade with the Cards.

IMO Cutler not worth the #2 pick in the draft. In fact I don't think he is worth a first rounder but who knows what will happen on draft day. Some GMs overpay for a starting qb. Its going to be a crazy and interesting draft night during the first round for sure.

I agree. Cutler has the million dollar arm with the 10c brain. Goes through coaches like potato chips. But there is always someone who thinks they can fix him. I would just as soon see him remain in Chicago. I think he makes it easier for the Vikes.

But he be traded for a first rounder. He would be traded and the first rounder's would be swapped. Even then, I am sure the Bears would throw in a 3rd too.

Marc Trestman would probably have a coronary if the Bears somehow manage to trade Cutler.

The teams holding the top picks in the draft and the Browns are the only ones with the cap space to trade for Cutler so Bears fans desperate to see him gone will be giving legs to these Cutler trade rumors.

It's been trade city since the most recent CBA was adopted, but the Redskins paying three firsts and a second for RG III set the price to go get Mariota too high.

So you are "proposing" the Bears trade Cutler, their 1st rounder (#7 overall pick) and their 3rd round pick to move up and get the Titans pick #2 overall.

That is not a bad trade for the Titans if they like Cutler.

I think Whiz would want Rivers. They already have a history together.

Lovie might like Cutler enough to trade the #1 to the Bears for their 1sr Rd. pick #7 I think, and another pick or two this year or the next.

Wasn't Cutler just signed to a huge extension a year or two ago? That would almost make him untradeable wouldn't it? They would have to eat a lot of dead money this year to get rid of him.

Yep, got this off spotrac.com

Jay Cutler signed a 7 year, $126,700,000 contract with the Chicago Bears, including $54,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $18,100,000. In 2015, Cutler will earn a base salary of $15,500,000 and a restructure bonus of $5,000,000. Cutler has a cap hit of $16,500,000 while his dead money value is $29,500,000.

The thing with Bradford being trade bait is that the Eagles are not yet selling Bradford jerseys. You can get Matthews, Murray, and Maxwell jerseys but no Bradford just yet which is interesting on 2 fronts. Either they're still trying to hash out his number(Punter Donnie Jones currently wears #8, they currently have Bradford listed as #7) or they're holding off pending any trade.
