For some reason, maybe the labor unrest and an uncapped year coming, i think this will be a year where there will be a large number of high profile players moved on draft day. Some predictions:

Julius Peppers gets moved from Carolina to NE for two second round picks.
Braylon Edwards gets moved to NY Giants for a 2nd and a 4th.I've heard a bunch of different places that it will be this and not the Gianst 1st rounder. We'll see.
Anquan Boldin to the Ravens for their 1st,4th, and Todd Heap. They reach a compromise on the 3rd round pick by taking Heap and a 4th.
Brady Quinn gets moved to either Denver for the 19th pick or Detroit for the 20th pick. If i'm Detroit, i select Jason Smith at 1 and pick up Quinn for the 20th.
Jerious Norwood from Atl to the Cardinals for their 3rd. Okay, that's just me hoping that gets done.
Tony Gonzales to Atlanta for a 2nd round pick.
No players, but the Jets give up their 1st, 2nd , and 4th to move up to #8 to select Mark Sanchez.
Larry Johnson gets dealt for a 4th round pick, maybe to Houston.

Once again what is your love affair with Norwood? He's completely average!

I wonder if the late start time won't encourage more trading, too. You know how people talk themselves into things, fall in love with ideas and such. I wonder if stewing on these things and extra few hours will generate more phone calls between teams.

I am not happy with the late start... its easy to steal hours early in the day from family time, but right smack in the middle of the day is going to prevent me from even watching the first round!!! :(

i think he complements Hightower perfectly, fits the offense to a T, and he's a legit KR threat. He'd be a tremendous upgrade over JJ.

more trade buzz is Washington trading their 1st this year and next year to KC for the 3rd pick. That way Snyder gets Sanchez and the Chiefs get the guy they really like,Tyson Jackson. Plus, it fits Pioli's MO of acquiring multiple 1st round choices like he did in NE.

Peppers is interesting. He might be the best player on your post....if someone can get him without giving a first round pick then it is a steal. This is assuming the panthers have no plans to attempt to bring him back.

Edwards....really depends on what cleveland wants. My guess is that want a first round pick. They could always just keep braylon if a team tries to shortchange their demands.

Same with boldin as with edwards. The cards could keep him, but my guess is a team will consider giving the cards a mid to late first round pick for boldin(plus supplements as required). I don't see a team giving the cardinals a starter plus a first round pick. It just doesn't happen that way...it's usually one or the other. Especially if you consider boldin's injuries of late and his attitude towards the cardinals front office. Why go all out to get him? Now if you were going after fitzgerald/andre johnson type WR that would be a different story.

Brady Quinn....why bother?

Jerious norwood? don't know about that one....my guess is the cards could draft a RB as good as he.

Gonzo...as great as he is....idk that I would give up a 2nd round pick for a guy that old....TE at that. but it depends on the team i guess.

Houston has steve slaton. LJ for a fourth is possible, but he has a fat contract. I don't know a team that would take on his salary. I think the cheifs are stuck with him.

I did well at planning in advance. Months ago I told my wife I would give her anytime to do whatever if I could just have Sat. April 25 from 1:00 on. I learned the hard way though because I missed the entire thing last year from not planning ahead.:D

I have a wedding to go to that starts at 5pm, right when the Cards are expected to pick. I'm NOT happy.
