The blown leads are a combination of bad defense and stupid turnovers. Mix in the lack of a dedicated ball handler which leads to those offensive turnovers.

Doesn’t help the Suns that Clarkson and Markkenan are no shows against the lakers geesh… Clarkson freaking plays is like he’s Curry then just no shows against others… I’ll stand by what I said the inseason deal here is just a distraction won’t be to upset we get out of the mix so we can just play ball and work on coming together as a team for the ultimate goal!

My main takeaway is that Portland is really really bad. Sheldon Sharpe would not be a fun player to have on your team.

So after a hot start, Ayton slowed down and he and Nurk finished with the same amount of points and Nurk had 4 more rebounds and 4 blocks.
I really like what Nurkic can do as a passer while guys cut. He’s looking to make the right play and we’ll need that as team’s force him to be a decision maker at times.
