Interesting tidbit I heard on the radio...

No formal team wide stretch/warmup session. Players must be ready to go and it is their responsibility to stretch ahead of time.

At 2pm, the horn sounds and drills start.

I guess that gets more practice time in without breaking the rules. Seems smart as long as all actually stretch.

Come to think of it that was weird.

Keep it coming Shane. Love this stuff. Finally, every other sport moves to the back burner, football is back.

No bro heading back to NV to an airconditionless home.. Ughhhh

Too bad, I was going to try to hook up with you.

I can relate to the airconditionless home, swamp coolers suck at this point.

Pretty much all the recent evidence is now pointing to preworkout stretching being useless. Dynamic stretching is the only thing that really works for a warmup.

The Army no longer does pre-physical training stretching at all, with lunges and other dynamic stretches replacing traditional stretches.

Post-workout stretching is a necessity though.

My question for Shane and anyone else who was there, yesterday. How did CP look? Especially to how our QB's looked early in camp, last year? And did anyone stand out?

Thanks for the TC update, but how the hell do you live in NV with no A/C?

My A/C went out a few years ago and I stayed in a hotel while it was being replaced. I can't sleep if it is 100+ degrees.
