Personally I would rather have an undrafted FA wr than another year of Sherfield who has peaked as a subpar possession receiver. At least we will potentially get someone with some upside.

Remember that insane sideline catch he made last season? Dude was better than IA. I don't understand why he didn't get more playing time. And as mentioned, he will most def be missed on ST. This hurts that he's going to a divisional opponent.

Ok I just don't value special teams gunners very much. You just need to find someone with some speed and a desire to stay on the team. Should not be hard to find a replacement.

prediction - We try Isabella at KO this year. He brings it out of the back of the endzone, Sherfield levels him at the 1, ball pops out into the endzone and Sherfield falls on it for the touchdown.

Agree, we are not going to keep all our free agents. We resigned Vallejo and extended offers to Gardeck and Turner. These three are key special team players.

Wish he was brought back. Special teams are huge.

I was a little disappointed Sherfield was gone... I was crazy elated Gardeck is back..... Gardeck is worth 5 Sherfields ( much as i might like him).... Makes me think the team may actually be progressing...
