It is debatable but he's definitely the best right now imo.Best? Debatable...
Top 3? For sure!
Most valuable? Due to Kittle's age and Bowers not contributing that much in the run game? Without a doubt.

It's a two man race IMO. Kittle had an AWESOME season last year.It is debatable but he's definitely the best right now imo.
Yes, however, Mcbride is younger lolIt's a two man race IMO. Kittle had an AWESOME season last year.
As I said.. McBride is the most valuable for that reason.Yes, however, Mcbride is younger lol
Being younger & me being a lifelong Cardinals homer, I'm giving Mcbride the edge lol. Most valuable as you said.As I said.. McBride is the most valuable for that reason.
If you go back and look through the thread, you'll see that this is a false narrative. Very few people if anyone were saying that he was a bust just because he wasn't playing through the first three quarters of his rookie season.Let this be a lesson to us all, not to be so quick to label a player a bust if they don't immediately set the world on fire.

In December of his rookie year, he had 20 receptions for 219 yards and 1 TD. People weren't worried about him at that point. He was also playing 85% of the offensive snaps.

i think the lesson here is that the team should take the BPA even if its not a position of need [ducks]Let this be a lesson to us all, not to be so quick to label a player a bust if they don't immediately set the world on fire.
im glad too it was about to be festivus af in here againBetween the Calais Campbell last ride contract and McBride's historic extension. Vibes are good.
Petzing needs to do a better job of getting Trey on deeper ballsIt's a two man race IMO. Kittle had an AWESOME season last year.
Hopefully, yes! But undoubtedly? He is undoubtedly shaping up to be the best Cardinal TE ever.
it's the old-school unstoppable tecmo bowl play tho - nearly impossible to sack murray on such a short drop back - nearly impossible for the defender to time the break even when they know it's coming - but the longer the play takes the more vulnerable both murray and mcbride becomePetzing needs to do a better job of getting Trey on deeper balls
the 49ers do a good job getting Kittle the ball on the move 10+ yards down the field and letting him add 10-15 yards to it
too many of Trey's targets are 5 yard curls
It sure seemed that Kyler wasn't targeting McBride so much in quick game as he was an outlet pass when the play had gone on Quite Long Enough.it's the old-school unstoppable tecmo bowl play tho - nearly impossible to sack murray on such a short drop back - nearly impossible for the defender to time the break even when they know it's coming - but the longer the play takes the more vulnerable both murray and mcbride become
i used to make childhood friends cry with this play -
so like 2 or 3 seconds? It sure seemed that Kyler wasn't targeting McBride so much in quick game as he was an outlet pass when the play had gone on Quite Long Enough.
I think a big factor that would improve the deeper passing game is if Kyler would hold onto the ball a little longer while still in the pocket. I am sure a better interior OL would help that out.Petzing needs to do a better job of getting Trey on deeper balls

I'm not saying EVERY one. More like a statement in general. There was definitely a level of concern from a contingent of the board though. If you go back and look through the thread, you'll see that this is a false narrative. Fair. The fact that he didn't exactly kill it immediately coupled with a still viable Ertz on the team, was probably all that the naysayers needed.i think the lesson here is that the team should take the BPA even if its not a position of need [ducks]
the criticism was using a 2nd on a TE when the team already had Zach Ertz. I think that spilled over to the reg season when he wasnt current Trey McBride from week 1.
He signed with the cowboys, cardinals GOAT status revoked.
But then his drop cost them a Lombardi Trophy... status restored! He signed with the cowboys, cardinals GOAT status revoked.
