I loved it, but then again i love all Brad Pitt movies. I must be some sort of gay, not that there is anything worng with that!, but I think he is a great actor.

Not quite as much action as I thought there would be, but I thought the movie was enjoyable and entertaining.

Eric Bana played a great part. Im not a huge fan of Brad Pitt but he was ok as Achilles.

Some of the battle scenes were pretty cool!

Well worth the price of admission and 3 hours of your time!

I was actually hoping someone would go into more detail about this movie.

Good Story Line, I thought they were going to make the whole Achilles thing cheesy, they alwasy do when it has to deal with god like characters, but they didnt.

Some pretty good battle sequences and acting by all of the actors.

It had more drama then action IMO but never the less a good movie,

Is "Troy" any good?

Just wondering what the opinions are out there on the movie Troy? I like those type of epic films, but heard that Alexander was a disaster from most who saw it, but never heard much about Troy. Anyone?

Just got it on BluRay (my wife wanted to see Brad Pitt's arse, I guess).... anyway... we both thought it was generally abysmal. Pitt, even steroided up, was a terrible Achilles: It was almost like he didn't really want to be there..... and we LIKE Brad Pitt. Eric Bana was good as Hector, but Orlando Bloom, who we also like, was just dreadful as Paris.

Special effects were better than average, but not great, and certainly did not make up for the eyerollingly poor storyline, we thought.

3 hours we'll never get back..... 2 out of 5 stars.
