I think it's safe to say that this franchise has never enjoyed the accolades and recognition now being routinely showered upon them. Be it national media outlets like NFL Network and ESPN, or individual and well-respected voices within the game and within the world of sports media, it is truly a stunning turn of events.
I was listening to Doug & Wolf this morning... They did a terrific spot with Al Michaels who stated: 1.) The franchise is now known as one of the "Elite" franchises in the NFL! 2.) Michael Bidwill is viewed as one of the "Best & Brightest, Up & Coming leaders within the ownership group", and that Michael will become of the leading voices within the game, particularly among the owners. 3.) He of course hailed the exploits of Steve Keim, as well as Arians... 4.) He boldly predicted that the Cardinals are "built to last" and will therefore be a contender on a routine/sustained basis!
Jon Clayton see's the game tomorrow as an easy win for the Cardinals saying the Packers can't run and the Cardinals can defend the pass...
I can't get enough of the praise and the recognition that is due on behalf of this team. I've been around long enough to know that turn-arounds of this scale just don't happen much, if at all... The degree of improvement, from top to bottom and side to side with this franchise is simply remarkable.
All that said, I'd be lying if it all doesn't add to my angst... I really believe we will take care of business tomorrow. We are simply the superior team in every measurable. But I'm still nervous... and incredibly amped! I can't wait to be at UoP and get this party started!!!
