I know it's stating the obvious, but the team that wins the turnover battle will probably win the game Sunday.

I've been looking at the week 10 gamebook for the Steelers game against Indy.

Final score: Indianapolis 24; Pittsburgh 20

Heath Miller, Willie Parker, and Lamar Woodley didn't play for the Steelers and the Colts made the Steelers one-dimensional by holding Melwelde Moore to 2.4 ypc on 24 rushes.

The Steelers won time of possession by almost 10 minutes and even had more total yards of offense. But Big Ben threw three interceptions and had a passer rating of 59.0. Meanwhile Manning was just 21 of 40, but threw three touchdown passes and NO interceptions. If the Super Bowl is similar, the Cardinals will be World Champions. Shut down Willie Parker and turn Big Ben into Jake Delhomme.

Complimenary players

Willie Parker and Heath Miller are complimentary players when it comes to offensive productivity. Miller is probably the best combo TE (catch and block) in the game. He's like a third OT on the field and acts as a fullback sometimes because the B. Arians moved away from having a traditional fullback. The other thing is that when Miller is on the field, he'll kill opposing defenses with underneath and seam routes when the LB's and safeties cheat up to stop Parker. Miller really makes the offense run smoothly, and we learned that once again when he was out this year.

The same is true for Woodley and Harrison. When they are both on the field, offenses can't doubleteam both. That surely would have changed things in the Indy game.
