Cards/Vikings will have #2 FOX broadcast team of Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, and Tony Siragusa. We get a break from Myers/Billick this week.

This is not a bad crew IMO. Moose Johnston is pretty insightful and none of them are really annoying.....OK Gooser can be sometimes.

The Buck/Aikman combo is going to Seattle this week to watch the Giants pound the Seahawks and maybe send Hasselbeck to the IR. There really are no super great matchups this week. Best game is Colts/Eagles.

The NFC sucks. You cant have any good matchups when there are no good NFC teams. This is the worst year of the NFL that I can recall. I think the NFC owners know there is no football next year and threw in the towel to get ready to hunker down. The Cards deserve Billick because watching them play is like having your finger nails ripped out or watching special needs children play football.

How many weeks before the St. Louis Cardinals open spring training?

I know the question has been asked and answered in past years but...

How/who decides what area gets which game? Being in Arizona you would think that we would get more "West Coast" games than we do.

Sweet.

This is the second (or third?) nationally televised game we've gotten here in Denver so far.

I always thought it was simply decided by the local TV stations (Some even allowed people to vote on which game they wanted to see that week), but apparently it's a little more complicated than that:

Hey, at least the Blues are off to a great start (3rd best start in team history)!

And it's great to see Cards-Vikes game on local TV this week. Hope we show up for the national stage.

I don't care for Siragusa, but it will be nice to get a break from the not-so-dynamic duo.

I don't know. I think that if you follow the NFL, you're probably pretty interested in Bucs @ Falcons. Two teams battling for first place in the NFC South. There isn't a lot of star power there, and they're not really glamour teams (anymore), but for people who are looking for some good, fundamentally sound football, I'm not sure where else they'd rather go.

- (THE?) Two young rising stars at quarterback
- Two rising young stars at WR
- Two teams with a bigger divisional rivalry (The Falcons used to not accept calls from Tampa for open seats)
- Two interesting head coaches
- Two over-achieving defenses
- Two very good running backs

Good information. But none of that explains, for example, why we are seeing Miami @ Baltimore instead of San Diego @ Houston?

I would think there are more people in Arizona interested in seeing San Diego, i.e - more San Diego fans in Arizona than either Miami or Baltimore fans, irrespective of the team current standings.
