The Denver Broncos have had a great offseason thus far.

Broncos general manager George Paton and coach Sean Payton have filled most of the team's biggest needs, and they still hold seven picks to use in next month's NFL draft.

Denver re-signed key in-house defensive lineman D.J. Jones and backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham, then they brought in outside safety Talanoa Hufanga, linebacker Dre Greenlaw and tight end Evan Engram (among other moves).

Paton and Co. have received positive reviews for the signings thus far. Here's a sampling of how fans and pundits reacted to the Broncos' offseason following those key free agency moves.

Gotta love the Broncos day. Adding Dre Greenlaw and Hufanga (both should be very good in their roles there) and re-signing DJ Jones.

I would argue that no NFL Team improved their roster today more than the Denver Broncos.

If you don’t believe me, I challenge you to ask your 49er friends about the difference in their defense with Hufanga AND Greenlaw vs without either one or both…

Every fan base gets excited with all the free agent moves… but we’ll see how it works out. That being said.. what the @Broncos and @ChicagoBears have done I really find intriguing

Broncos now have major flexibility heading into the draft

Can select best player available vs. needing to address a specific position

Great position to be in after free agency

The Broncos have won free agency:

This solidifies free agency as a great class for the Broncos. Filled almost every hole except RB and got the 3 guys they targeted in Hufanga, Greenlaw, and Engram https://t.co/2kRm7KOz5Q

WINNING! I know there is no official scorecard for the NFL's "legal tampering" period but it certainly seems the ⁦@Broncos⁩ are crushing it! Welcome to Mile High Evan Engram! #BroncosCountrypic.twitter.com/k1lYEmDvcd

We haven’t even hit the draft yet and this already feels like the best roster the Broncos have put together since SB50.

Have to imagine the Broncos draft a TE and RB in a rich class for both positions

Pretty amazing how well they recovered from the Russ trade https://t.co/5r5TZncynH

Running back is the last Infinity Stone for Sean Payton to add. That will most certainly happen in the draft.

— Nick Kosmider (@NickKosmider) March 12, 2025

The Denver Broncos won free agency. Now, go crush another draft, George Paton and @SeanPayton!

Omarion Hampton is about to be a very popular (and realistic) mock draft pick for the Broncos moving forward

The Broncos are pushing their chips in this year.

To my eye, the Broncos only have one glaring hole left, which just so happens to be extremely strong in the draft…Running back.

Doesn’t mean that it’s going to be their first selection but it would be really shocking if they didn’t get one early.

With the bulk of Denver's free agency splashes seemingly over, attention will soon turn toward the 2025 NFL draft. One of the biggest needs remaining for the Broncos is running back after Javonte Williams left to join the Dallas Cowboys. The draft will be held in Wisconsin from April 24-26.
