hopefully back against Buffalo, they have the #4 passing offense by DVOA, but we can put Peterson on Diggs and their only other major receiver is Beasley who is kind of a problem in the slot no matter who is on him
The good thing is Allen hasnt been killing it like the first month of the season.

However, no Chandler Jones pressuring him and a thin secondary...

You dont want him with all day to throw.

As far as this week....blitz way Vance...blitz away..

I want Budda being Budda in the role he excels at... I am sure we can drop someone in the slot from our group which is not a safety
I remember seeing Kirkpatrick in the slot a few times...it wasnt pretty.

Again I dont think we have to worry about the slot until Buffalo though.

Gesicki is a problem. Simmons szn?
I dont think Murphy was going to be covering him or dealing with him as much.

Hopefully that game changing play by Simmons gave him the confidence to have a great week of practice. The more reps the better.

I think Campbell would be ok on him as well.

Gesicki is a physical monster, he runs 4.5 and has a 41.5in vert.

He is going to clown Campbell.

Nope, the position he is playing now and how he's playing it makes this defense effective. Moving him would sort of be like moving Hopkins to TE with the effect Budda is having at safety. I do not want to take the guy out who is making plays in the backfield or helping to generate a pass rush with the lack of Chandler Jones. Budda at slot would be fair at best because though he has learned to cover as a safety, the slot is a whole different animal. We cannot afford to affect how this defense can wreck havoc or it's versatility he provides the defense

He’s basically had same EPA/DYAR as Chase. Would you consider Chase a problem for our opponents this year?

k, have a seat

Right....their featured offensive weapon is equal to our backup RB.

Naw I'm fine son, I think you might be the one who needs to take a seat.

Chase is our 3rd most important player this year on offense. He’s obviously someone that opposing defenses worry about.

ETA: He’s obviously not their biggest/featured weapon. They have Parker lmao. And I never said he was!

This is probably the week where you can experiment a little,

Simmons, Jalen, Peterson (maybe), run some different looks.

The Dolphins offense doesn’t scare me. But they should prep some stuff for Buffalo.

FTR - it was bound to happen that one or more of our players would catch it. Obviously, it can still get worse, but (knock on wood) we havent had a Titans situation in which the entire team came down with it, which f'd up our schedule

what will your knowledge do to help the team win. Please explain.

nothing. Nor did I ever imply anything like that. I just want to know what we’re looking at this week. Crazy... a Cardinals fan on a message board wondering what effect a missing starter could have on the team!

Now, what reason did you have to just be a jerk for no reason? Please explain.

I wasn’t being a jerk, I was asking you how having this knowledge would have an impact on how the team was going to make adjustments and win this next ball game.
