Two Curses to worry about

The Super Bowl hangover curse and the Madden curse.

Anyone want to take bets that #11 is on the cover next year?

One exciting thing is that provided the team resigns Warner and Dansby we will be one of the two or three faves to win it all next year. One great thing about the Super Bowl was all the coverage our downtrodden got and I look forward to an offseason of love and lots of break downs and reading.

I hope the Madden cover is Rottenburger, but knowing the Cardinals luck it will be Fitzgerald.

Another cool thing is the fact that we will be on national TV ALOT more next year including the first Thursday of the season.

No...that will be the Steelers. The Super Bowl Champions always kick off the season on Thursday night. We lost the game.

Although, I expect us to be the National game quite a few times next year, with a couple of appearances on SNF included.

We also play at Detroit next year and we just got a little more attractive for that Thanksgiving Day game vs the Lions...

Good call. The Thursday I expect will also be a home game. We then get 10 days of reast before the next game. I am so happy to be able to see the Cards more on TV next year.

BTW I have scared sh*tless about the possibilty of Fitz being on the Madden cover too. Hopefully he says thanks but no thanks ala LT.

2003: Panthers beat the Eagles in the playoffs and went 7-9 the next year
2006: Saints beat the Eagles in the playoffs and went 7-9 the next year

Only the 2004 Patriots broke the curse.

It doesn't work in the Super Bowl. This is where the curses collide with each other. The Patriots beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl, and of course Super Bowl winners do well the following year.

Likewise 2005 is not listed because the Eagles missed the playoffs (after losing the Super Bowl)
