I've given him a fair share of criticism this season, as I haven't liked how he's schemed and adjusted in certain games, but I have absolutely no criticism to throw his way today. He analyzed the Pack's offense, found it's weaknesses, planned to exploit them, put his players in a position to exploit them...and man, did his players EVER exploit them! Two thumbs up for our DC today.

BA' thinks the best overall D game was in Seattle, but today was quite impressive.

FYI stat of the day. Rogers has three sack fumbles returned for TD's. All against the Cards. 2010 PO game and two today.

I too have criticized Bettcher for his defense.

Today he really had a good game plan and the players were well prepared.

It did help that GB had injuries on the Oline. But all teams do. We just took advantage of it. 9 sacks is really something. CC had a fire going in him today.

Todays defense was of the flogging HOOK!!!

we saw playoff football today........

our defense outscored the Packers offense.

In my book,....Mr Defensive Coordinator gets a game ball.

The D was beasting today. I'll defer to BA's judgement, he knows, but for me the most comfortable game of the year was today. It was domination. I saw some things today scheme-wise that impressed me a lot. I'm really hopeful Bettcher has been keeping schemes like today in his back pocket, because I was incredibly impressed with the domination.

I don't even care about GB's lack of offensive line or lack of receivers, not one bit, they're a playoff team regardless and we stomped them.

I think it's about time we gave Bettcher his due. Horton's D had a learning curve of several games, really more like half a year. There were times Bowles D was ridiculed, people called him Bowels on here. Bettcher hasn't had any of those issues, and he's working with less talent in the front 7 by far. At some point we have to acknowledge he's talented as a D coordinator and that BA knows how to choose guys and promote from within the guys he chooses.

(Wife said something to me today which made me think, when on TV they were talking about all the old fossils BA brought in. I was making jokes and she said, "He brought them in to move the franchise forward, to teach all the young guys (coordinators) he has, so that we'll be good for a long time, even after he leaves." I paraphrase, but that was the gist of it)

Your wife seems to on to something. Wouldn't it be nice to just pass the baton as each guy retires and still have a winning team?

She's way smarter than I am. When we were talking about Carson's finger being taped again today, I was so worried that it was broken or whatnot, and she said it was probably dislocated, they tape it to prevent further dislocation, it's easier to be dislocated once it's already happened, so they stabilize it, she'd experienced that once as a flag girl in high school like 30 years ago. Who knew. LOL!

Talk about answering the bell. You know he took all the talk about Badger being a huge loss this week personally.

I remember the days when we'd be playing a team with a weakness and we would totally fail to exploit it.

Today's Cardinals seem to plan week to week to take out the biggest threat to the defense. We are one of the best coached teams in the league.

I think back at all the pretenders that coached this team over the years. God were we pathetic.
