I'm happy to see the Cardinals have stayed away from QB in this draft. I also agreed with many that the Cardinals would not take a QB in '13. However, things have changed drastically in this draft. The question is with QB's falling like they are, do the Cardinals consider taking a Tyler Wilson or similar caliber if he falls to the 5th or 6th round? If Wilson is available in the 5th I would strongly consider drafting him and stashing him away for awhile. Palmer is a short term fix and in 2 years Wilson may be able to step right in. If the value is there, they'd be stupid not consider stealing a good QB prospect in a late round.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. Wilson would be a steal in the 5th if he lasts that long. If nothing else take him and let him develop. Then maybe he could at least potentially be trade bait down the road.

Hey, we just traded back in the third, (from 38-45), for an extra pick in the 4th, (#110). It's a great pick to use for Tyler Wilson, or even the first one in the 4th round, #103), if they choose to do so. We would hedge our bets against Palmer not being what we thought, or in case he gets hurt, and just might find a QBOF for our Franchise that we can keep on a low profile and develop at his own rate. Not exactly a bad place to be.

I agree, if you are talking QB in the 2nd round, no why. But someone like Wilson in the 5th or 6th? Sign me up!
