UCF guard Nils Machowski is reportedly entering the transfer portal after two seasons with the program.
Machowski appeared in 27 games with five starts for the Knights this season, averaging 2.8 points and 2 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per game. He connected on 42% (23 of 55) of his shots, including 33% (10 of 30) on 3-pointers.
Monday was the first day players could enter their names into the transfer portal, with the window closing on April 22.
UCF (17-16, 7-13 Big 12) is set to play Oregon State in the first round of the College Basketball Crown Tournament at The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 1 (5:30, FS1). The Knights were among five Big 12 teams participating in the inaugural 16-team tournament sponsored by Fox Sports.
The 6-foot-3 Machowski signed with UCF in 2023-24 after playing for Germany’s Alba Berlin team. He appeared in 25 games, averaging 2 points and 1.1 rebounds in 9.3 minutes, primarily off the bench.
