Big win over an unbeaten Michigan team on the road, 9am west coast start, several players took finals the night before. UCLA started out cold as ice and then Afflalo got hot and they never looked back.

Huge game from 4 of the freshman, Mboute again led the team in rebounding with 9, led the team every game. Ryan Wright didn't start but had 8 points and 8 boards in 24 minutes and helped shut down Sims of Michigan. Collison was huge off the bench getting into the lane repeatedly for UCLA, and even Aboya played well in limited minutes despite the brace on his knee.

Afflalo had 17 in the first half, Farmar had a huge 2nd half. UCLA is really coming together, if Aboya continues to heal, they expect Shipp back in a week, look out. This is a team that in a month could be REALLY good.

When UCLA plays Arizona next month, they will have just the one loss (to Memphis) on their record.
