Men's college basketball champion Connecticut is one of six BCS schools facing academic penalties from the NCAA and Southern has become the first university to get postseason bans in two sports for poor performance in the classroom. The punishments were released Tuesday as part of the NCAA's annual Academic Progress Rates report.
