There are 5-6 UFAs still available who could help the Cardinals in significant ways. The Cardinals currently have $16.2M in cape space. Here are the ones I find most intriguing:

TE Gary Barnidge. Had a Pro Bowl type season in 2015. Tailed off some last year, but with the QB carousel in Cleveland that's a mitigating factor. Very good in red zone, an area the Cardinals need to improve.

DE/DT Sen'Derrick Marks. The Cardinals need interior pass rushers. Marks registered 9 sacks in 2014, was injured in 2015 and recorded 3.5 sack last year in Jacksonville. He's 30 and at this point would be best as a situational rusher on passing downs.

ILB Sio Moore. With Deone Bucannon sidelined for a few months, why not bring back Moore for depth at the $LB position. His 14 tackle performance versus Russell Wilson and the Seattle read option was superb.

OLB/DE Elvis Dumervil. He's 33 and after recording 17 sacks in 2014, he only had 9 the past two years. But, as a situation edge rusher 10-15 times a game, he could be a real boost, especially now that Haason Reddick will be spending most of his time at ILB. An improved and high motivated Jarvis Jones and Elvis Dumervil could provide much needed depth and a fresher rotation.

CB Darrelle Revis. Apparently he has dropped his weight, which could be the key for him returning to his accustomed form. He turns 32 in July. He could be rejuvenated in Arizona, and if so, could be a major reason why the Cardinals could contend for a championship.

Who would you want to see the Cardinals sign?

agree totally on barnidge, im sure once niklas breaks a bone we will go after him.

I'd take any of them at bargain prices. Revis would be my least coveted of the bunch.

I don't get why BASK hasn't brought Sio Moore back, especially with Bucannon's ankle surgery. Can Barnidge block well, if not then pass. Can the Cards work Revis out, basically have him run a 40 yd dash? If yes then would Revis submit to said test?

If he can run a 4.6ish forty or faster then hell yes bring him in.

I wonder how many of these UFA's will have to wait until week 1 of the regular season so their contracts aren't guaranteed.

if Revis can still play it would be a big value to sign him. I'd love to see Dan Williams here again.

I'd rather bring back Jim Dray. For whatever reason, Barnidge was exclusively productive when Josh McCown was his QB.

I would like to see us take a flyer on on Revis. If he would work out for us first to see if he's not only lost the weight but has his skills back then he could be the difference between a top 15 defense or a top 10.

I would also like us to sign Jared Odrick and Dan Williams to solidify our line. If we brought in these three I think our defense could be outstanding.

Who would you dump for each of these guys. If you sign one you have to eliminate one. So who would go?

we have a few bottom of the roster WRs we could part with

If Niklas gets hurt do injury settlement and cut, then sign barnidge.

Dig the irony of our losing Calais to Jax and then signing Marks. We don't want to make that sort of trade-off a habit.

I thought we had already signed Sio Moore. Very interesting. Maybe the staff is seeing the Scooby some of us Arizona mega-homers expected we would. But even then I think having an ILB staff of Dansby, Deone, Reddick, Wright and Moore would be ideal, especially with the versatility that Reddick gives you and the potential versatility Scooby gives you if he can get back to playing with the ferocity he did as a Sophomore at Arizona.

Odrick ? Maybe.

Dan Williams ? In my opinion, Dan Williams is not as good as Corey Peters, not by a long shot. Corey Peters has much better feet, quickness, and makes more plays then Williams ever did.

Barnidge is interesting as he was pretty productive not long ago ---- yet he sits waiting.

Sio Moore also interesting in that the Cards obviously saw him up close -- yet not a peep on any interest in bringing him back. That says something

Odrick can beat out Ed Stinson for a roster spot.

I have zero interest in Dan Williams. Gary Barnidge is meh. Jim Dray fits well for what our TE group is lacking. I don't understand why Verner is unsigned. Agree that Sio Moore being unsigned is saying something.

The question is how many of these vets want to sign prior to the start of training camps. Honestly, most vets don't love the off season grind which is why they wait to sign or drop their price.

I read where he is out of shape. Severely. Like added a few pounds. Pretty sure it was a Rams site so take it for what it's worth. ;)

I see Dray and Barnidge as basically the same kind of player, solid and would probably go with Dray over Barnidge... I actually have more faith in both of them over Duck Tape Nik
