I'm not ruining anything for anyone here, but let me merely say one of the favorites lost tonight.

Cro Cop's leg = :barf:

He won't be fighting for a while. Wow, that was one hell of a kick.

Cro Cop was walking fine after the fight, but his leg looked horrible.

He has nothing wrong with him but a bruised ego.

That was one of the biggest kicks I have ever seen.

Yeah. It was a big kick not just in terms of the physical impact, but also in terms of impact on the sport and the division. It was truly a kick heard 'round the world. If GG comes out with the fire he had last night, Couture will once again be KO'd into retirement. Good God. GG was a beast from the outset. I don't think Cro Cop got a single punch on him (only that fierce body kick).

To think that GG is the same fighter that got boo'd out of the ring at UFC 56 against Kevin (?) Jordan....

Oh, btw, I am DONE with Aussuerio Silva. I tried so hard to like him as a fighter. He hung on for 3 rounds against Tim Sylvia and he didn't let Tim into his game. Not an exciting fight, but it endeared me to him. Now, two fights later and two losses later, I realize he is just a poor fighter, which makes me wonder how he got that 32-2 record before the UFC.

He came in last night in POOR shape - he was all soggy around the gut and he was breathing out of his mouth just from being exhausted through the introduction. Did he not know that this was his make-or-break fight? He can't (or shouldn't) be invited back to the UFC after this. He was a wet blanket. He got Kongo to the ground almost at will, but he would only proceed to lay and pray. And for him to raise his arms as if he were victorious was pathetic - more pathetic than Kongo's ground game.

I'm done with him. I can no longer try to like or respect him as a fighter. I hope I never see him in the octagon again....

the amazing thing about the cro cop fight is that he was getting his butt kicked before the big kick.

Gonzaga has been a very good heavyweight, the only issue was who had he faced.....well that issue is dead now. This should make a very interesting matchup for the Heavyweight Belt between him and Randy

I finally got to watch the whole fight. I don't think he even landed 1 hit.
