Uh Oh... Falcons fans are mad at Antrel and Dockett

Just like we were mad when Welker did that Snow Angel after he scored his td, who cares it happens its the nfl. The cardinals have been through a lot of bad seasons like I care what falcon fans think right now.

I've got to say, I hated those celebrations. Antrel's reminded me of Leon Lett getting stripped of the ball, and Dockett's was absolutely boneheaded and really took a lot of the benefit that you are supposed to get from a safety but putting us in terrible field position. The looked like players that don't know how to win. We won in spite of that BS but if anyone thinks we are the worldbeaters that can afford those types of luxuries you are crazy. Both those guys need to learn how to succeed as a team. Both celebrations were saying "screw the team, this is about me" Hopefully Whisenhunt won't let that stuff go.

Totally agree. Don't give a damn what Falcons fans think of it but you can't hurt your team with a penalty.

Celebrations are fine but a guy got to know where the line is. The penalty by Dockett allowed them to punt from the 35 instead of the 20. Add the fact taht Iwebema had a penalty on the return and now we're on our own 9 yard line. The game was FAR from over at that point.
I'm all for guys having fun but not when it hurts the team. If it's a safety with 30 seconds to play and it ices the game, go for it.

They're all pretty mad (with good reason) but they should be mad at thier team for not winning...period. They got whooped.

We are NOT a good enough team to endure excessive celebration penalties. If we're up 40-0, I'm OK with a snow angel. But that brokeback mountain scene I didn't like. As the great Joe Paterno was quoted as saying - "Act like you've been there before".

Totally agree with you PA. Field position in any game is important let alone a playoff game. Save it for the end of the game.

LoL, some of their posts are hilarious - they are still in denial. Even going as far as accusing the Cards of pulling a "Belicheck"

They stopped the run because our line was slow off the ball and couldnt' create any push. It wasn't because they loaded the box. They had our snap count down perfectly. Its almost as if they had videotaped our practices ala Patriots! Not to mention that they jumped offsides nearly every play and counted on the refs not to slow the game down by calling every single offsides and they were right. 4 or 5 times they got away with it.

Sometimes when boys play a game they get fired up! These boys were having a great play and smile about it..

Let them have fun, there is no big deal in any of this.
