The announcer: "Despite the early morning start time, McKale Center is packed with most of those in attendance wearing red."

:doi:

It's Tucson...there's nothing else to do. :D

Says the ASU grad on his laptop while at work (10-5 Saturdays). Making money while ripping the Cats! :D
Yep ASU grads having to work on Saturdays sounds about right jk. Although I don't think the cats have much of a chance in this game.

Why did it take Lute 5 minutes to take a timeout and then they turn it over on the inbound? Frustrating

The Cats had a great opportunity to right the ship today and instead they were completely embarrassed. I can't remember ever losing that badly at home in the last 20 years.

Does Lute even care anymore? The last seven games the team has been completely outplayed and outcoached. This season is shaping up to be a bigger disappointment than last year.

Hey, Dean Smith and John Wooden retired. Maybe it's something Lute should contemplate. Today's performance was inexcusable.

Olson says he doesn't panic, but after today Lute might want to consider hitting this...

That was the worst defeat at McKale center under Lute.. The announcers were saying Lute was chewing out all the players at the end of the game for basically giving up.. Lute was pissed it sounded like.. That was the worst defeat I have ever seen the Cats take, home or away.. Emarrasing..

Did you go to the game? Talk about a miserable trip
I had to be down there for work anyways and stayed through for the game. Getting blown out on the road is going to happen, but getting pasted at home is simply inexcusable. Something needs to change - don't know what it is (although I have my suspicions) but it needs to happen soon before the program falls into obscurity.

People continue to say that next year is your year. I don't see that coming to fruition at all. You are losing Shakur, Radenovic, Walters (who cares), Williams is as good as gone, and Budinger could leave as well (although he needs at least another year to figure out how to play defense).

Bayless will no doubt be an upgrade at PG for you next year. After that I'm unsure of your other incoming recruits and whether they will be able to contribute at a big level. Your bench is extremely thin this year so I find it hard to believe that they can be counted on next year to immediately contribute.

It could be a good time for Lute to step away and turn the reins over. It might be time to go through a rebuilding phase in tucson which at lutes age, I find it hard to believe that he'd want to spend the next 1,2,3 seasons doing that. uofa will clearly be able to land a big hire who can sort through that process

I'm not to the point yet where I believe Lute going away is the best choice although I do think he needs to upgrade his assistant coaching staff if he plans on staying through the remainder of his contract. Who knows what's going to happen, but Lute has always said he will coach as long as the players listen to him and it's become pretty obvious that some players have been tuning him out for a few years now.
