Melton was the 10th player and 2nd CB (behind Rakestraw) on the list the NFL Network showed of Daniel Jeremiah's next 10 best available players (46th overall on Jeremiah's list).

40 starts over 4 years and a good combine. Everything I’m reading sounds good and like a Monti type of guy.

Yeah, exactly. I would have thought the Sanristril kid from Michigan over this guy. If we were taking a CB just to get a CB. But... What do I know.
