The Seminoles’ 10th pitcher of the game, in a tie game in the 10th inning, was shortstop Jordan Carrion — who hadn’t thrown in a game in 2023. Carrion got a sacrifice fly for the second out of the inning but then bounced a curveball in the dirt, a few pitches after Colton Vincent blocked one, only this time the catcher couldn’t keep the ball in front of him and North Florida pulled out a 15-14 win. FSU had the lead multiple times only to let it slip away, including in the eighth and 10th innings only to lose its seventh straight game.
