I'm surprised there is no thread on this movie yet. Saw it today on *gasp* regular TV!

Diane Lang, Richard Gere and that hot Italian guy. Nice cast.

Thought the premise was interesting. Lang starts having an affair with the hot Italian guy. Didn't like the ending though.

Anyone else seen this movie? I know it's old (and so I am, lol!)

Well, the fact that so many scenes on the regular TV programming were cut short, I figured that boobs were definitely a part of the real movie.

Gere rocks! Actually, I think his acting in this movie is pretty good. He is RARELY the guy who does not get the chick. I think Diane Kane did well as well.

I am all about the Italian guy, but if Richard Gere was my husband, I am pretty sure I would be satisfied.

He's French (in the movie anyway). In real life he's half french, half spaniard (but you're forgiven for tha small transgression). And yes, he's a hottie (with short hair, not so much).

I liked the way the movie ended. Very realistic, IMO.

Diane's performance was amazing...the scene on the train where you can see the whole gamut of emotions running thru her face.

This is the only movie that has ever made me physically angry. I really wanted to jump through the screen and strangle Diane Lane.

It didn't help that I just found out my then wife was cheating on me at the time.....

Maybe not a good choice for a movie at the time. But really, how many times has the reverse happened? Women turn a blind eye on infidelity (for a variety of reasons).

I am sure that it has happened numerous times. Women are being more and more "Unfaithful" these days. Either that, or they are getting worse at hiding it.

I just watched it. Excellent acting by Gere and Lane. Lane was actually nominated for best actress for this one. I didn’t like the ending either. However, I couldn’t dislike a movie that had a Sopranos character in it. Corrado had a small part as a PI.
