Apparently, the Unit's agents have told the White Sox he'd approve a trade there. Don't see why he would.

Diamondbacks are asking for John Garland, a starting outfielder (probably Aaron Rowand), LHP Damaso Marte, prospect Ryan Sweeney (a 19 yr. old all-star in the Carolina league this year), and another prospect. That'd be a hell of a lot for the White Sox to give up, assuming Rowand is the "starting outfielder" we're asking for.

I dont think thats too much to ask... Garland has potential but hasnt put it all together, Rowand had a good year last year, but he isnt a safe bet to continue that, also the outfielder prospect sounds good, and I have always liked Marte. All in all, I would ask for what the D'backs are asking. I like this trade more than the yankee one.

If the starting OF is Aaron Rowand and not Joe Borchard, I'm all for this. Although I'd rather try and get a middle infielder and pitching prospect as opposed to another OF though. Throw in Hairston if necessary.

Isnt it a strech calling Joe Borchard a STARTING outfielder?

If we end up with a bunch of Sox, can we start yelling "YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD, YES!" for home runs. And "GRAB SOME BENCH" on strikeouts. Like the homers on WGN. They crack me up. Pick to click?
