On Monday night, Miller arrived in Austin, Texas with his wife, Amy, and posed for a picture with Texas Athletic Director Chris Del Conte.
Del Conte was rumored to have an interest in Miller in 2023, when Xavier and Texas met in the Sweet 16 in Kansas City. The Longhorns advanced and Texas ultimately decided to remove the interim tag from Rodney Terry's job title.
Terry led the Longhorns for the next two seasons but was officially let go on Sunday, just hours before the Austin American-Statesman broke the news that Miller would be the next Texas coach.
