dont worry I just texted BA I am available.

Haha sweet. I feel so much better now. I wasn't going to draft the Cardinals defense this year in FFB but now that you are going to be there racking up the sacks I'm all in.:raccoon:

Rodney Gunter excited about his opportunity, said he'll be ready. I'm surrounded by greatness. I want to be great.

This sucks. Count me in for bringing John Lott back. Peters was looking good to. Better than anyone else so far. Looks like it will be Taamu, Gunter and Williams on the inside. We better keep an eye out for nose tackles that are still out there.

Time for him to step up his game and make his move. It would be great for him to play this year and make an impact

I dont think Lott knows how to strengthen tendons

We can withstand losing Peters for the season because of the depth we have on the line, but it's disconcerting seeing all of these injuries from camp. Last season was frustrating enough.

it's a testament once again to what Arians/Keim have accomplished that this board isn't on full on melt-mode (me included) with serious/somewhat serious injuries to Peters/Floyd/Iupati/Weatherspoon.

has there EVER been such almost unanimous faith in our team then there is now?

The good thing about Gunter and Williams is they're versatile. I heard Gunter is looking like he can line up in 3 different spots. And Williams at the KC game was playing in a spot he never played in practice and apparantly he made no ME's at all.

With the multiple Cardinals D alignments, I don't think it's a terrible loss. Xavier Williams is now the wild card at NT. It would be great if he can seize that spot.

Was it me or did Ta'amu look really fat & out of shape? He made a few plays...but wooow.

Loved the Gunter pick, but I'm thinking the Cards will add another big hoss shortly or when final cuts happen.

Hell...offer a 7th rounder to the Raiduhs for Big Dan, they're stupid enough lol:D

What a shame. Corey Peters looked really good on the few plays where I was watching him.

So with his previous injury(the other Achilles), it happened in the final game of 2013... it was a non-contact injury just like this latest rupture. The timing was unfortunate for him because he was due to become an UFA at seasons end and likely would have collected a nice pay check from some team. Atlanta resigned him to a 1-year deal for 2014. He was held out of their wk 1 game for precautionary reasons but played in every other game that season and didn't seem to have any lasting issues with the injury.

Bummer! See ya next year Corey.

Not melting down, but our run defense is very questionable, especially up the middle. It looks like a 4th round rookie, Kevin Minter, and a banged up Weatherspoon will be responsible for the inside running game. That, to me is a far cry from Dan Williams, Dansby, and a non-suspended D Washington. But we'll see.

Just think if we still had Dansby and Washington still out there. Would be scary good!
