With our predictably, it’ll be a lot of 3rd downs.

When the Eagles won the SB scoring 41 points with *checks notes*

Nelson Aghalor
Alshon Jeffrey
Torrey Smith
Zach Ertz
Trey Burton

Did Ertz presence make them "predictable"? Trey Burton played 18 snaps and had 1 target.

They had 62 rushing yards and 373 passing yards. So it can't have been that predictable right against one of the best D's in the league?

Does Waller make the Raiders predictable? Does Kelce make the Chiefs predictable? Both of which line up in the slot 30-40% of the time. Waller the last 2 seasons ranked 40th and 81st in blocking out of all tight ends. Both those guys play big slot more than anything and dominate targets shares by TE's. They are as predictable as they come, it doesn't make a difference.

The only 2 guys I can think of who are great at both are Goedert and Kittle.

The idea that Ertz makes us predictable is silly. And if it did, it wouldn't be on Ertz, because most the league use a similar TE, it would be on Kliff.

This. By this time next year a lot on this site will be complaining he wasn’t the same player. I believe he will start on the pup list and won’t be nearly himself until MAYBE November/ December.

The official report says he tore his LCL. Not every ligament in his knee.

Well, I say official. Everywhere I look that carries Williams full injury history says LCL only. I assume that comes from some official source. I imagine these things have to be registered with the NFL for insurance, records, fantasy or whatever.

I hope you are correct.

Did he? His injury report says just LCL. Where did you get every ligament?

The Cards site listed a torn ACL. Others have mentioned LCL and twitter doctors speculate he tore everything based on the eye test but I suppose nobody outside the team and docs know for sure. I look at Gardeck who was healthy but had no explosion. On the flip side Akers came back from a major injury and looked decent. It depends on the person.

Pretty much everyone reported it as an ACL tear

Cardinals' Maxx Williams: Recovering from surgery

Rotowire NOV 23, 2021
Williams revealed via his personal Twitter account that he underwent surgery on his right knee Oct. 24.
The Cardinals haven't offered specifics regarding the nature of Williams' surgery, but so long as the procedure didn't involve an ACL repair, he could have a shot at being cleared for the start of OTAs in late April. Whether Williams joins the Cardinals or another team for those workouts isn't yet known, as the 27-year-old tight end is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the start of the new league year. Before sustaining his knee injury in Week 5, Williams had been productive in a starting role for Arizona, turning in a 16-193-1 receiving line on 17 targets.

Maxx Williams – Right Knee LCL Tear

To repair this injury, he will need to undergo season-ending surgery. He developed good chemistry with Kyler Murray, turning into a potential “this year’s Robert Tonyan” candidate. The value next year largely depends on what Arizona does at the TE position next off-season. I would expect them to bring in some competition for Maxx Williams as he may not be 100% to start the preseason, given this occurred in Week 5.

The injury list grows larger and larger every week. Week 5 seemed to have a wide variety but some fairly significant injuries. Check out Next Man Up to help identify new opportunities for other players!

The franchise is also awful in communication
I still remember last year we waited three months before known from an outside source that gardeck had suffered an Acl torn
Its pretty common having an official medical report after an injury
They don't care

Or they care more about the player and his right to privacy than they do about strangers obsessing over another man’s knee on the internet…

I follow other sports too and in every professional sports after an injury and exams there is a medical bulletin reported in the team site
This thing about the privacy is just there
