I'm all for these guys getting paid, but I have never been a fan of guys who are under contract holding out. Unless they play for a division rival.
lol Touche!Fixed that for ya.
6.5 sacks in 47 career games at TAMU. There are extremely productive college players that go undrafted every year.I can't believe this guy went undrafted. How does that happen?

I used to agree with this, but changed my stance a few years ago. If teams can cut players and not have to pay them anymore when the player under-performs, than I have no problem with players holding out for more money when they over-perform.
Personally, I'd rather both sides be locked into the contract... but since that isn't how the NFL works... then let both sides try to out-leverage the other.
I get your thoughts but my employer never had to worry about the injury sustained answering my house phone and how it will impact shipments.

Really ?
Every job I worked, if you hurt yourself, at work or at home, they asked you about it. Especially if it caused you to miss work.
Just my experience.
I see the NFL no different than the modern day work place. If I want a raise, I better have leverage, and options. They can fire me at any point, without notice, thus I have no loyalty to said job, and make sure I am always in the know about other opportunities. At least 3 at all times.
Produce and you get paid.
What is this compassion to one side or the other?
