The Oklahoma City Thunder have clinched the first seed. Not surprising considering they've held a double-digit game lead in the standings for most of the season.

The Thunder collected their 60th victory with a 121-105 win over the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 32 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Chet Holmgren tallied 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Less than a month remains in the 2024-25 regular season. Even though the Thunder aren't involved, plenty of heated races for seeding have ramped up as the margin for error gets thinner. Thunder Wire will conduct daily updates on the West's standings until the season ends:

What happened last night?

Heat 112, Warriors 86: The biggest storyline heading into this game was Jimmy Butler's return to Miami. After he spent months stirring drama to get traded, he finally got his wish and was sent to the Warriors. That turned out to be the biggest thing as the game itself was a boring blowout as Golden State struggled without Stephen Curry.

Knicks 128, Mavericks 113: Without Anthony Davis, the Mavericks dropped a bad loss to the Knicks. Naji Marshall scored 38 points in the most March NBA basketball performance ever. OG Anunoby had 35 points to match up and helped New York get the easy win.

Rockets 121, Hawks 114: The Rockets avoided disaster and did just enough to not blow a 25-point lead over the Hawks. Jalen Green had an efficient 32 points to lead Houston. Atlanta scored 40 points in the fourth quarter to make things interesting.

Grizzlies 140, Jazz 103: This was a get-right game the Grizzlies desperately needed. They've struggled in recent weeks but the tanking Jazz are the perfect pick-me-up for that. It was an all-around effort by Memphis as seven players scored double-digit points.

Thunder 121, Kings 105: The Thunder picked crossed 60 wins for the season. Nobody else in the West has even won 50 games. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 32 points as this was a relatively stress-free win. Keegan Murray exploded for 28 points and shot 9-of-13 from 3 but Sacramento dropped another crucial game.
