It now has us taking

1st. Terrance Newman CB K. State
2nd. Kelly Wasington WR Tenn

This was done on the 11th before Kordell signed. I would think now that they would have Chicago taking Suggs then Dallas taking Newman which would leave us with Leftwich....they now have Andre Johnson going #3.

I wouldn't mind that scenario, though Washington might go in round 1. He would be a great pick in round 2, as I think he is ready to contribute now. He would probably be our number 1 right away, and him and McAddley would make a nice, young receiving tandem.

If Suggs is gone, I might want to trade down and try to acquire more picks form later in the draft.

I have heard alot about Washington being a total ass.

That is a problem, that's for sure!

He tricked Donte' Stallworth into going out early last year. He told Donte' that he could still go back to school even if he hired an agent, which was a lie. Kelly wanted to be the target numero uno, and got his wish.

I have been down on Washington - he didn't endear himself to the Vol faithful with his attitude - was a me person (which seems to be the case for the prima donnas of the NFL, the WRs).

He did have a good workout the other day at Tennessee Pro Day:

Let's face it.

It is very hard to not have any Prima Donnas on a team. I would take Washington in the second and hope for the best (if he clears medically that is).

The Cards need to get better at making Prima Donnas happy (the Simeons, Bostons, etc.) since it is hard to avoid those type of players.

Agreed - it seems though, that the good WRs tend to be Prima Donnas - Boston, Keyshawn, Rice, etc.

This is where good veteran leadership is crucial - an Emmitt or someone else that the players respect that can keep them in line.

Yeah every good receiver is that way, that's for sure.

It must be taught to them when they are in Pop Warner! I can see it now......(David Boston as a kid, his coach telling him what to do) "Ok David, as you are about to score, turn around and point at the corner and tell him he was burned!"
