A men's bobsled athlete was detained and released by Canadian police, the U.S. Olympic Committee said Thursday. Details of the investigation have not been made public. "We understand that late last evening Bill Schuffenhauer, a member of the U.S. Bobsled team, was detained and released by authorities in Whistler," USOC spokesman Patrick Sandusky said in a statement.
